Meet Anna
Anna K. Rush is a Hattiesburg attorney, prosecutor, small business owner, and dedicated public servant running for the Mississippi State Senate. A Hattiesburg native and graduate of Oak Grove High School, Anna has spent her career advocating for her community, first on Capitol Hill and now as the lead prosecutor for the City of Hattiesburg for 7 years. She founded Rush Law Firm in 2018 and established AK Rush Properties in 2020, both located in the heart of downtown Hattiesburg.
Anna has served in various leadership roles at the state and local level. She currently is the President-Elect of the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division, and has served as President of the South Central Mississippi Bar Association and Downtown Hattiesburg Association, and sits on multiple nonprofit boards focused on justice, the arts, and child advocacy. Anna is a graduate of Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she held leadership positions in several organizations.
